My Unlikely hero Essay

This essay is about my unlikely hero and it is about Sean Payton. Let’s understand what means to be a hero.
Hero is the archetypal motifs, which is based on overcoming obstacles and achieving certain goals. The feat of the hero is in the victory over the beast, or the monster of darkness: this is the long awaited and expected triumph of mind over the unconscious. The myth of the hero is unconscious drama, found only in the projection.
The mythological motifs of the hero correspond with the unconscious self person symbolizing the ideas, forms and forces that create or capture the soul (CW 5, par. 259). The purpose of the hero is finding the treasure, princess, a ring, a golden eggs, the elixir of life etc. Psychologically all these finding are as metaphors true feelings and unique human potential. The hero symbolizes the unconscious man’s self, and this manifests itself empirically, as the total amount of all the archetypes, and therefore includes the archetype of the father and of the wise elders. To a certain extent the hero acts as his own father and as his own parents
In the process of individuation heroic task is to assimilate the unconscious content, in contrast to the fact that they have to be captured and depressed. Potential result here is the release of the energy associated with the unconscious complexes.
The journey of a hero can be illustrated by the diagram in the form of a circle. The myths and legends of the hero, as a rule, are moved by sea-going ship, battles with the sea monster, after which they swallowed. The hero makes all the forces in the fight to avoid death or danger of being stung all over by the deadly, and, as the bible Ion, travels inside the belly of the whale. Along the way he gets to the vital organ of the “jailer” thereby achieving his release. In the end, he is forced to return to the origin and to witness all with him what had happened.
In the context of individuation human monster-dragon is the mother or the parent anima. Vital organ, that here it is necessary to separate – the umbilical cord.
Now let’s speak about the Sean Payton. He was born in San Mateo. Since 1987 Sean Payton begins to play as a quarterback for the Chicago Bruisers and Pittsburgh Gladiators. After that his rights were sold for $1,000.00 to the Ottawa. Sean Payton begins to play for Rough Riders. After one year he played for the Leicester Panthers. He takes part in semi-professional UK Budweiser National League.
Bob Grotz wrote about him:
“Sean Payton, who first began managing football games in the mid-1970’s with the Marple Junior Bengals in Pop Warner football, laid the groundwork for the onside kick long before it happened last Sunday. Payton gave referee Scott Green a heads-up before the game. Two months after getting a coaching job with the University of Maryland, then Eagles offensive line coach Bill Callahan called Payton to interview for a job with then-offensive coordinator Jon Gruden and head coach Ray Rhodes. Payton promptly became quarterbacks coach for Bobby Hoying and the Eagles, who struggled in 1997-98. From there Payton worked as an assistant for the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys before taking the job with the Saints. After the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, which wracked New Orleans, it was a rebuilding job few coaches wanted.”
