I write this letter because I am interested in the opening of your facility. I apply for the nurse position because I have enough knowledge and qualification for this position. I will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Felician University, in May 2017. At the present moment, I finish my last semester in nursing school. I have a wide experience in holistic nursing care and can provide all necessary nursing procedures. I have the necessary skills and knowledge in order to provide quality health care service. In addition to my diploma, I have rich practice experience. I got the chance to practice my skills in Clinical Residency and Orthopedics unit in St. Barnabas Medical Center; Medical/Surgical Adult II in Newark Beth Israel Medical Center; Maternity in Morristown Medical Center; Pediatrics in St. Barnabas Medical Center; Medical-Surgical Adult I in St. Joseph Medical Center; and Psychiatric in St. Joseph Medical Center. Practice in these institutions gave me rich working experience. My practice and study experience give me enough experience in nursing care. I have a perfect understanding of all nursing qualities and the technical skills required for this opening. Along with my diploma, I also got a CPR certificate and a BSL certificate. During my practice and additional courses, I gained skills in urinary catheter needs, blood pressure, IV tubing, Injections, tracheotomy suctioning, wound care, and colostomy care.
In addition to my professional skills and knowledge, I have personal qualities, which make me suitable for this position. I like to help other people, I am a patient and calm temper and stay tranquil in difficult situations. I also get along well with different people. I easily adapt to different situations and show good skills when there is a necessity to take responsibility and resolve a complicated problem. I am a compassionate and caring person who is eager to help other people and I believe that the nursing position perfectly fits my goals.
