Every country has its own heroes. They may be in different spheres but all of them have one thing in common. They deal with various problems but they do their best to make their country a better place to live in.
As to Venezuela, it is considered that it has a lot of heroes, including the Venezuelan President (Hugo Chavez), the author (Adriano Gonzalez Leon) and the musician (Ricardo Montaner).
These three people are rather popular in their native country.
It is rather important to mention that Hugo Chavez as a president is believed to improve greatly the life of his people.
Adriano Gonzalez Leon is a national hero because he is both a poet and a writer who became popular after his novel Paнs Portбtil, written in 1968. Additionally, this novel is believed to be the premier Venezuelan novel of the 20th century’s second half. Besides, Gonzalez is also famous for a TV program hosting, dedicated to promotion of the literary appreciation among the people.
As to the musician, Ricardo Montaner, he is regarded as a versatile poet as he features writing lyrics skills, describing amazing scenes of a daily life. As a result, now Ricardo is also as a composer for a number of the famous artists – Ricky Martin, Carlos Baute, and etc. Besides, he runs his own record company, Hecho A Mano, and in addition, he tries to help the talented people, especially the young. That is why he supports new talented people.

Hugo Chavez the Venezuelan president

Hugo Chavez is considered to be one of the most important, vocal and controversial leaders in Latin America.
Born in 28, July 1954 in Sabaneta, Barinas state, Hugo (in full Hugo Rafael Chбvez Frнas) was the son of schoolteachers.
The article in the Encyclopжdia Britannica concerning Hugo Chavez reports that he grew up in a small town in the southwestern plains of Venezuela, named Sabaneta. Hugo was the second child of the six surviving children, all were boys. As his parents did not have enough money so that they could support all their children, Hugo along with his eldest brother, Adбn, was raised by their grandmother, Rosa Inйs Chбvez, in Barinas. By the way, it was his grandmother who instilled a love of history and politics in Hugo. Being a teenager, he was greatly influenced by the local historian, named Josй Esteban Ruiz Guevara, who told him a lot about Bolнvar’s and Karl Marx’s teachings, both of which had a rather great impact on his political philosophy. Adriano Gonzбlez Leуn is a poet and a writer from Venezuela who became rather popular in his country after his novel Paнs Portбtil that was written in 1968. Then Leon got a law degree from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) in Caracas. It is rather important to mention that in his youth he was a politically active person and in the 1950s he fought against the Marcos Pйrez Jimйnez’s dictatorship.
When Adriano was teaching literature at UCV at the age of 24 along with Juan Calzadilla, Edmundo Aray, Guillermo Sucre, Rodolfo Izaguirre and others founded the group, named Sardio that was publishing a magazine of the same name. This magazine included rather politicized writers from a number of backgrounds. Later in the 1960s, being a coeditor of the magazine Sardio, Adriano supported so popular at that time the revolutionary ideals.
As to his work, for short periods of time he lectured two subjects at UCV- literature and later economics. Besides, Leon not only held some diplomatic posts, but also he edited the literary magazines, and tried to promote the appreciation of literature through the television program. In 2004 PEN Venezuela Along with the other organizations decided to pay homage to his opus and the stature which he had achieved in the national literary that was why they established a biennial literary prize in his name. Ricardo Montaner the Venezuelan musician

Ricardo Montaner is a popular Venezuelan musician that started his career in the early 80s. He has released about 15 albums with a number of successful singles and besides, more than 22 million units are sold worldwide.

Gabriel Lombardo reports that Ricardo Montaner (Ricardo Montaner b. Hйctor Eduardo Reglero Montaner) was born in September, 8th 1957 in Lanъs, Buenos Aires, Argentina. Being a boy, Hйctor had a special music feeling. Later his father took a job in a telephone company because his family moved to Maracaibo, Venezuela, where Montaner started to sing in the school choir. Later, when he was 17, he joined his first music band as a drummer, but within some time the band’s vocalist got sick and Montaner took his place. As a result, the young musician began promoting his own music works with a demo-tape in some radio stations. When he was 19, Montaner got married to Ana Vaz and later he had 2 children from her.
It is very interesting to mention that he won a contest allowing him to sign his first contract. As a result, he changed his original name into Ricardo Montaner. Later, he recorded his first album with the name ‘Cada dнa’ in Venezuela (that was re-edited in 1994). Additionally, in 1986 the next Ricardo’s album with the name ‘Ricardo Montaner’ received far more profit in sells than ‘Cada dнa’. As a result, within four month time more than 250.000 copies were sold, that was why Ricardo won 2 gold discs and a platinum one.
Furthermore, in 1988 his next album with the name ‘Ricardo Montaner 2’ had a great success. Hence, its two songs ‘Tan enamorados’ and ‘Sуlo con un Beso’ won the first places in Billboard’s Latin Charts. As to his personal life, his marriage was a disaster and after the divorce, in 1989 Ricardo married again. His wife’s name was Marlene Rodriguez Miranda who was the daughter of the main shareholder of Venevision Network. They had 3 children and Marlene became his director and producer of the video clips.

To sum up, famous people make their country famous and well-known within the whole world. It is a well-known fact that every country has such people. As to the Venezuela, these three people have a great influence on the development of the whole country.
